Oatmeal Soap

Oatmeal soap is a natural moisturizer but also exfoliates the skin. Oats retain water well therefore attracting it to the skin. Many people use products that contain oats for exfoliation because it is a gentle natural way to eliminate dry dead skin.

Oatmeal soap is often used as a natural remedy for skin irritations such as psoriasis. Oats are a common product found in most homes, and they are often used in baths. Do not add oats directly to bath water because it will make a giant bowl of oatmeal, but rather put it in a nylon sock and steep it in the w ater instead.

Oatmeal soap adheres itself to impurities and allows them to be washed away. Oats are a natural product used in soap that is beneficial for the skin, and products that contain oats can also be purchased at many stores. There are also other products such as lotions that contain oats and are readily available for purchase. Oats are naturally occurring; however, make sure that all of the other ingredients used in the product are natural as well to receive the full benefits for the skin.
